End The Pain - Neuropathic Facial Pain Expressions and Impressions

Thoughts on the trauma of trigeminal neuralgia, a disorder of the fifth and largest cranial nerve resulting in the most severe pain known to a human.

Free Again

I fought with The Demon
Night and Day
Yesterday and Today
For weeks
Turning into months
For months
Turning into years
Fighting, Fighting, Fighting
What I could not see.

It did not want
To let go
It did not want
Me to be free.

It Screamed and Shouted
When I told it to go.

“GO!”

It Kicked me
And Punched Me
And Threw me to the ground.

Oh, the VIOLENCE of it all!

A disease
A disorder
Tried to kidnap and kill
My spirit
And me.

But God through my surgeon
Answered my prayers
And set me free.

Thank you, God.
Thank you, Dr. Richard Zimmerman.
