SUZANNE NAOMI GRENELL

Biography

Suzanne Naomi Grenell was born on March 1, 1951 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She spent her early childhood in Palos Verdes, California and then attended school in Edina, Minnesota from 1959 - 1969. Suzanne is a 1969 Edina High School graduate. In April 2008, Suzanne Grenell was inducted into the Edina High School Alumni Hall of Fame in Edina, Minnesota. She currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Suzanne is battle tested. She is a two time breast cancer survivor (1993; 1999) and has lived with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a disorder of the fifth cranial nerve, for over a dozen years. Suzanne is a poet, author, speaker, and teacher. She has Master of Business Administration (Arizona State University 1982), Master of Education -- emphasis Social Sciences (University of Minnesota 1977) and Bachelor of Science (University of Minnesota 1973) degrees. Suzanne was an eighth, ninth, and twelfth grade Social Sciences teacher in Roseville (St. Paul), Minnesota from 1973 - 1979. She worked for Intel Corporation (Santa Clara, CA) from 1982 - 2005 in worldwide positions.

Suzanne Grenell's non-profit service includes working with the Academy of American Poets; New York City, NY (Chairman's Circle 1996 - current), National Public Radio; KJZZ Phoenix, AZ (Patrons Leadership Society 2003 - current), and The Facial Pain Association (formerly Trigeminal Neuralgia Association); Gainesville, FL (Board of Directors 2004 - 2009).

Suzanne Grenell is an experienced international traveler and built a house in Petra, Jordan. She also appreciates the total (head to toe to soul) functional fitness a regular regime of Pilates provides. Suzanne is currently pain free, med free, and cancer free.
